Alkeme has curated guided meditations and playlist centered around self validation, self improvement, and coping mechanisms during times of stress, all from some of the best and brightest black Healthcare professionals.
Black Emotional & Mental Health Collective host virtual events, trainings, and programs for the healing, wellness, & liberation of black & marginalized communities. Beam offers wellness tools such as journal prompts, affirmations, as well as a black virtual wellness directory for those looking for a black therapist, doula, or yoga instructor in America.
Black Men Heal is a non-profit grassroots organization founded by licensed clinical therapist that provides black men with 8 free therapy sessions. Eligibility requirements are you must be a black man living in PA, NYC, NJ, MD, D.C, VA, or GA. Black Men Heal also provides safe spaces that promote brotherhood, sisterhood, and vulnerability through weekly zoom meetups to support men and women all over the country and internationally with issues such as stress management, depression, gun violence, and grief. Clinicians of Color is all about making it easier for bipoc communities to find a therapist of color, using their expansive directory for people of color all over the U.S. COCOA also provides trainings and other services to support therapist and Healthcare providers.
Deconstructing the Mental Health System provides 12 free therapy sessions as well as community events and an extensive listing of resources for black and brown people
Express Yourself Blackman is a podcast discussing topics such as depression, anxiety, abuse, coping with the pressure of being a man in this society, and redefining masculinity as a black man. The founder also started Safe Haven, a low cost therapy resource.
Latinx Therapy is a podcast that discusses cultural and commonly stigmatized topics with Latinx mental health professionals, influencers, and entrepreneurs. Latinx Therapy also has an extensive directory of Latin therapist all over the country, many of which are bilingual.
Therapy For Black Men has a directory of over 500 therapists and coaches throughout the US. The organization strives to break the stigma that asking for help is a sign of weakness.
