Roderick Foster founded Velvet Noir in 2014 after meeting an amazing skincare guru. Together they began researching products specifically for beards, especially for the beards of black men. At the time Roderick had really coarse, curly, beard hairs with plenty of split ends and could not seem to find a product that worked long term. Once he began using his own 100% natural products the results were instant! Now he is out to save the brotherhood one beard at a time.
